March’s full moon, nicknamed the Worm moon, will be rising on March 25 this year and in addition to its symbolic significance, it boasts astronomical meaning in the cosmic world, too.
Celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas revealed to People Magazine that full moons “symbolise turning points, culminations, endings or awakenings,” while their energy can be felt “three days before and after” its full lunation.
March’s full moon also marks the first eclipse in 2024 which Thomas predicts “will certainly be intense and profound”.
Here’s what Thomas suggest March’s full moon could mean for you based on your zodiac sign.
Aries (Mar 21-Apr 19)
For Aries, March’s full moon lunar eclipse may bring opportunities for closer relationships or sparks between them. Major milestones, such as a declaration of love, move-in decision, engagement, or marriage could also occur during this time, according to Thomas.
Thomas suggests that if you’re not feeling the alignment, it’s time to assess your relationship with your partner. You may find it easier to work through the drama or set each other free. Singles, meanwhile, can also benefit from this vibe by seeking someone with long-term potential.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20)
Thomas predicts that the lunar eclipse will lead to significant career employment shifts for Taurus, causing them to be busier than ever, juggling various responsibilities.
He predicts that if you leave a job around this time, view it as a long-awaited opportunity for a better future. If you’re unemployed, polish your resume and send it out.
Additionally, Thomas suggests turning our attention to your health, as this period can allow you to make healthier choices in fitness and diet.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20)
March’s full moon can potentially be a fun one for Gemini as it may encourage them to explore hobbies and romance, making it an important period for singles to find love.
Thomas suggests setting up multiple dating options and making romance with their partner a top priority.
Cancer (Jun 21-Jul 22)
For Cancer, this full moon lunar eclipse will bring attention to their past, family, heritage and upbringing, potentially highlighting significant family or parenting situations, according to Thomas.
He added that this energy could also focus on home, domestic or real estate matters, potentially leading to changes in roommates or even a redecoration of a living space.
Leo (July 23-Aug 22)
For Leo, this full moon will bring exciting ideas to broadcast their vision, potentially leading to milestones in writing, speaking, social media, branding or finalising an important contract.
Have any significant proposals you need to submit? Thomas suggests you “do so now”.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sept 22)
This full moon will energise the propriety sector, allowing Virgos to monetise and assess their budget. They may see more opportunities for raises, job offers, or side hustles.
If income streams end near this time, Thomas suggests to use this lunation to move on to find better opportunities.
Libra (Sept 23-Oct 22)
For Libra, this full moon lunar eclipse could mark the culmination of a significant personal project or endeavour.
Thomas advises standing in glory and demanding your worth in all areas of life, as you are now the one calling the shots.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21)
This full moon event will prompt Scorpio to take a break, recharge, and reflect on their life and aspirations.
While they may feel burnt out, this time will allow them to reflect in solitude and listen to their heart and spirit’s guidance. The intense dreams are expected to be in focus during this period, according to Thomas.
Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
Sagittarius, the life of the party, is expected to be energised by the full moon lunar eclipse, bringing exciting events and opportunities to socialise.
Thomas advises Sagittarius should enjoy their time, meeting new people, and not working too hard. He also suggests that someone may offer assistance to help reach their heart’s significant aspirations.
Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan 19)
For Capricorns, March’s full moon is the time to make financial moves as this lunar eclipse could potentially lead to a review, promotion, or new job offer.
Reflecting on your past achievements and aiming for growth is crucial. Some Capricorns may also receive favourable publicity or an award, according to Thomas.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18)
This month’s full moon lunar eclipse encourages Aquarius to explore new territory and horizons, giving in to their curiosity about life’s offerings.
Thomas suggests that now is a great time to take that leap of faith and explore new possibilities, especially if travel is on your mind.
The time has come for Aquarius to focus on their scholarly projects, spirituality or religion, or to engage in media projects, as they may reach a turning point and return to school.
Pisces (Feb 19-Mar 20)
For Pisces, this full moon lunar eclipse will highlight significant partnerships in business or love, indicating growth and potential separation.
Thomas emphasises the importance of equality and balance in connections, as Pisces may be growing closer than ever before or deciding it’s time to separate due to disagreements.
Thomas predicts a shift in wealth, assets, or investments due to the upcoming lunation, which highlights resource sharing and distribution.
