Show includes special appearance by drag legend Jasmine Rice LaBeija, portraying Hillary Clinton
In a hilarious off-Broadway production reminiscent of the hit musical SIX, ‘FIVE: The Parody Musical’ has emerged, promising laughs and satire targeting the complex relationships of the 45th President, Donald Trump, Timeout reported.
The comedic revue, running until March 10 at Theater 555, focuses on the women in Trump’s life, including Ivana, Marla, Melanie, Stormy Daniels, and Ivanka, who take centre stage to sing and jest about their intricate connections with the former president.
Drawing inspiration from SIX’s format, each influential woman in Trump’s life competes for the audience’s favour, presenting a unique perspective on their interactions with him.
Notably, the show includes a special appearance by drag legend Jasmine Rice LaBeija, portraying Trump’s ultimate nemesis, Hillary Clinton.
Creators Shimmy Braun and Moshiel Newman Daphna found inspiration after witnessing SIX and aimed to spotlight the women who played significant roles in Trump’s life, offering them a moment in the limelight.
The parody, titled ‘FIVE,’ humorously navigates the complexities of these relationships, providing a fresh take on the political landscape.
Premiering on President’s Day, the musical is set to run for four weeks, offering theatregoers a chance to enjoy a satirical and entertaining perspective on Trump’s connections.
Ticket prices start at $49 for this comedic journey through the intricate web of relationships surrounding the controversial 45th President.
