Google doodle today: Search engine celebrates November’s Half Moon cycle with card game – Times of India

Google has created an interactive Doodle game for this Friday’s Half Moon cycle conclusion. The search engine’s homepage was transformed into an interactive celestial experience on Thursday, celebrating the Half Moon with an educational card game where users compete against the moon itself.
Players engage in a matching challenge where they must pair different lunar phases to create complete moon cycles. The game comprises three levels, with points awarded for successful matches, leading to ultimate victory.
The November 21 Doodle introduces players to a lunar-themed matching game. Before beginning, participants receive essential information about November’s Half Moon phase and its significance.
In the game, users compete with the moon by pairing lunar phases. Each correct pair earns points. Completing three levels means victory. Google mentioned that winners might receive a reward and hinted at unlocking wildcards by completing nine unique boards. The game is both entertaining and educational about the lunar cycle.
The interactive experience is accessible in more than 20 nations, including India, the US, Pakistan, and the UK. Users can also obtain exclusive “Half Moon Rises” wallpapers from Google’s official website.
Google consistently celebrates significant global and local events through its Doodles. These range from India’s Independence Day celebrations to international sporting events like the Paris Olympics. While some Doodles are region-specific, those featuring universal themes—such as lunar phenomena—are displayed internationally.
