After Abdullah Shafique was bowled out by Taskin Ahmed in the first over, skipper Shan Masood and opener Saim Ayub built up a flamboyant partnership. Both the players made half-centuries but soon they fell with a couple of more wickets that included former captain Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel.

Masood was routed by Mehidy Hasan on 57 while Ayub got stumped at 58.

Mohammad Rizwan (18*) and Salman Ali Agha (0*) are on the crease.

After tea break, third session will be played from 3:15pm to 5:15pm, then the game could be extended by half an hour to complete the day’s overs.
