Simone Biles reclaimed her Olympic title in the women’s all-around at the Paris Olympics on Thursday.
Biles was in a close battle with Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade through three events, but she put her stamp on the win and a sixth career Olympic gold medal with a 15.066 on the floor exercise to finish with a 59.131 total.
Andrade took silver at 57.932, and American Suni Lee, the all-around champion at the Tokyo Games, returned to the podium in bronze with 56.465.
Biles, who also won the all-around title at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games, missed the majority of Tokyo three years ago after withdrawing from the team event when she experienced the “twisties” on vault.
