Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Moin Khan, who held the coaching position for eight years, will now assume the role of team director for the side.
The Gladiators emerged as the most reliable team in the PSL throughout the initial four editions. They secured a spot in the final three times and clinched the title in 2019.
Watson, who became a key player for the Gladiators after joining in 2018 following a two-year stint with Islamabad United, played a significant role in the team’s success.
His three-season tenure with the franchise until 2020 solidified his position as arguably their greatest overseas player.
It is worth noting that the HBL Pakistan Super League Player Draft 2024 will take place at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Wednesday, 13 December 2023.
The list of overseas players who are available for the upcoming tournament has been revealed, showcasing an unprecedented count of 254 international cricket players.
