California-based influencer Jackie Miller James, who suffered a brain aneurysm, is now awake and performing above expectations, according to doctors in a surprising development for the family.
Jackie is a social media celebrity having over 80,000 followers on Instagram.
Her family has now announced that she is doing better but has a long road to recovery. “We are beyond thrilled to share that your loving prayers for Jackie have been working!”
The family said that she is awake and has recently been transferred to one of the best neurological rehabilitation hospitals in the country.
“The doctors have been pleased upon her latest tests, numbers, and evaluations, noting that Jackie is performing above expectations at this stage of her recovery and is progressing more with every passing day,” it added and requested the community to continue prayer for her.
The ailing influencer has also been reunited with her baby and spends a great deal of each day with her entire family while in the hospital.
A GoFundMe account has also been established for fund collection which is being used to provide for her medical bills.
“As a family, we want to respect Jackie’s privacy during this very personal, intimate, and challenging time,” the family requested, and added that she will be the one to share any further updates across her platforms if and when she is ready.

What had happened with Jackie?
On June 6, Jackie was rushed to a health facility by her husband after collapsed from the medical condition.
She remained on life support and had to have five separate brain surgeries. Her daughter was born by emergency caesarean and spent her first 12 days in the NICU, but was unharmed.

According to reports, she was fascinated by Botox, cosmetics and beauty and wanted a forum to discuss them honestly.
The social media celebrity also charted her dating dramas, and met Austin James online in 2019.
The pair married in a lavish Napa Valley ceremony in April 2022 that was described as a ‘little bit Cali and a little bit country.’
